SEC Recruiting Headlines 2/13/2013

2. And here are the top in-state recruits that Auburn is targeting.

3. Athlete D.K. Buford, listed by Rivals as the top prospect in Mississippi, has committed to Ole Miss for 2014. He totaled 1,228 yards and 16 touchdowns as a runner and receiver last year.

4. Kentucky picked up its first 2014 commitment.  Four-star defensive end Denzel Ware was previously committed to Florida State but will apparently follow coach Mark Stoops and defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot from Tallahassee to Lexington.  Ware in the process of transferring high schools in Alabama.

5.  Stoops on the recruiting process: “We’re not going to take a backseat to anybody. We’re going to recruit hard. We will win our fair share.

6. 2014 offensive line prospect Orlando Brown claims more than 40 offers.  He’s planning a visit to Arkansas. His late father, Orlando Brown, Sr. played NFL football

7. Five-star quarterback Deshaun Watson is sticking by his 2014 commitment to Clemson.  The Georgia high school QB has already broken a number of state passing records.
