UK’s Crawford Arrested On Traffic Charge

Kentucky defensive lineman Mark Crawford was arrested Sunday evening for driving with a suspended license.  A Lexington police officer pulled Crawford over after his vehicle nearly hit another vehicle.  The officer found that Crawford’s license had been suspended.  And the junior could not provide proof of insurance, either.

Crawford was arrested and charged with careless driving, failure to maintain required insurance and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Joker Phillips will handle discipline internally.  Crawford was suspended for UK’s final two games last year for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
