Schools Target ML King’s Jordan Moore

The interest in ML King High School defensive back Jordan Moore is on the rise with less than three weeks to go until National Signing Day.

Recent schools to offer Moore include Auburn, Ohio State, North Carolina and Michigan State. Georgia is another school that appears close to offering Moore a scholarship.

“Georgia really likes Jordan, and Coach (Rodney) Garner called about him,” ML King assistant Clifford Browning told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I asked Coach Garner, ‘Are you guys going to offer?’ And he said yes and that he wanted to bring Jordan on an official visit within the next two weeks. But I’m waiting on Georgia to talk to Jordan directly before we count it as an official offer.”

It could help Georgia that the Bulldogs already have a commitment from Moore’s teammate, wide receiver Blake Tibbs. Another teammate, defensive lineman Kenderius Whitehead, is strongly considering the Bulldogs.

Speed is the strength of Moore’s game. He’s a two-time state champion in the 110-meter hurdles and once committed to LSU to run track.
