AU Loses Another Body

Auburn linebacker Jessel Curry is no longer part of the Tiger team, as Gene Chizik’s club continues to battle roster churn.  Curry played in six games last year, mostly at middle linebacker.

The sophomore missed the last half of the 2010 season including the BCS Championship Game.  But he reappeared on Auburn’s roster this spring… only to disappear from it again.

“Jessel’s got some personal issues that he’s still handling.”

According to The Opelika-Auburn News, Curry is the 35th scholarship player from last year’s squad to not be on this year’s team.
