Kirby EnnisTexas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin says starting defensive tackle Kirby Ennis tore his ACL in his left knee against Arkansas and will have season-ending surgery.

Ennis is a senior who started 11 games last year. He started the last four games this season after being suspended for the opener.

The Aggies will reportedy turn to true freshman Isaiah Golden to take his place with freshman Hardreck Walker and sophomore Alonzo Williams also filling in.

“This is not the NFL,” Sumlin said. “I can’t call Bob Stoops and trade for a guy. We’ve got who we’ve got, and we’ve got to able to develop some players.”The Aggies run defense is last in the SEC allowing 214.8 yards per game.

The news wasn’t all bad for Texas A&M today.  Sumlin says junior safety Floyd Raven is “probably probable” against Ole Miss Saturday.
