Two Gators earned SEC weekly honors after Florida beat Georgia 34-31 in OT on Saturday.

P/K Chas Henry was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week after hitting the game-winning, 37-yard field goal in overtime. Kicking in place of the injured Caleb Sturgis, Henry also hit a 34-yard field goal earlier in the game. He averaged 46.8 yards on six punts.

Freshman Trey Burton – a QB/WR/TE/FB, i.e. do-it-all player – was one of three players selected as Freshman of the Week. Burton had his first 100-yard rushing game, finishing with 110 yards and two touchdowns. Burton also had the longest touchdown run of his career, a 51-yard sprint down the right sideline in the fourth quarter.

It was the second time this season Burton was selected for the honor. He was also selected as freshman of the week following his six-touchdown performance vs. Kentucky on Sept. 25.

Here’s a look at the other Gators to earn weekly recognition from the SEC this season:

●          Jaye Howard – Defensive Line Player of the Week after Miami (Ohio) game

●          Jeff Demps – Special Teams Player of the Week after USF game

●          Mike Pouncey – Offensive Line Player of the Week after USF game

●          Jelani Jenkins – Freshman of the Week after Tennessee game
