1. Would losing to Auburn be the most crushing defeat of Nick Saban’s career?

2. Saban on Auburn fullback Jay Prosch: “You can’t say enough about what that guy does for them.”

3. Expect Auburn freshman quarterback Jeremy Johnson to play in the Iron Bowl.  Gus Malzahn: “We do have a plan for Jeremy, package wise, for this upcoming game.”

Meyer The Only SEC Coach To Vote Auburn #2

So much for conference solidarity.

Five of the six SEC coaches voting in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll slotted Auburn as their #1 ranked team in this week’s poll.  One did not.

Urban Meyer ranked the Tigers #2 behind Oregon.  Expect Auburn fans to remember that when Florida rotates back onto the Tigers’ schedule next season.

Chris Low of also points out that Texas Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville ranked the Tigers #1 on his ballot.
