2. Vanderbilt 77 – Loyola Marymount 68. Vanderbilt finishes in fourth place at the Paradise Jam.  Kyle Fuller led Vandy with 19 points.

3. Kentucky 68 – Cleveland State 61. Late rally puts UK over the top. Cats trailed by 10 points with seven minutes left in the game. Video Highlights

4. Florida 86 – Jacksonville 60. Scottie Wilbekin returns to the lineup for the Gators.  Dorian Finney-Smith posts his first double-double for Florida. Video Highlights

SEC Basketball Catch-Up

At, we always find November to be a pretty interesting month around the league.  It’s the one month of the year when the two money sports are going to head-to-head with full slates of action.  In 11 SEC cities, the focus remains on football.  In Lexington, the attention switches to basketball.  Big time.

So knowing that basketball is still a back-burner sport for many of you out there, here’s a quick catch-up on what you might have missed around the league the past few days:

Mississippi State 2-1 (wins over Eastern Kentucky 76-66 and South

Kentucky — #2 in AP Poll, #2 in Coaches’ Poll

Florida — #7 in AP Poll, #8 in Coaches’ Poll

Alabama — #16 in AP Poll, #15 in Coaches’ Poll

Vanderbilt — #18 in AP Poll, #20 in Coaches’ Poll

(In case you’re wondering, Texas A&M is ranked #18 and #19 in the polls while Missouri is ranked #24 and #25.)
