5 MSU Players Suspended, Not 10, For Tonight’s Game

Mississippi State officials have confirmed that there have been some suspensions on the Bulldog football team.  But only half as many as had been reported on Twitter.

Starting defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, backup left tackle Blaine Clausell, backup quarterback Dylan Favre, linebacker Chris Hughes and receiver Malcolm Johnson are all suspended for “various violations of team policies.”

All five are expected to return next week against Auburn.
