Auburn Remains In Picture For Tarean Folston

Running back Tarean Folston from Cocoa (Fla.) High School is still considering Auburn despite his commitment to Notre Dame.

Cocoa coach John Wilkinson told ESPN RecruitingNation that Folston will announce his final decision on Feb. 6 at 2:30 p.m. eastern time.

“He’s definitely going through everything in his mind,” Wilkinson said. “The Auburn visit went well and they gave him a lot to think about.

“One day he might be leaning in one direction and the next day it’ll be something different. I just want him to make the decision that he is most comfortable with.”

Auburn, which signed junior college running back Cameron Artis-Payne in December, has made a strong push to land a high school running back since Derrick Green of Richmond, Va., committed to Michigan on Saturday.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn is expected to visit running back Johnathan Ford of New Hope, Ala., on Tuesday night. Ford, who decommitted from Vanderbilt on Monday, is also considering Tennessee.

Bradley is the third junior college signee in Auburn’s 2013 class, joining running back Cameron Artis-Payne from Santa Monica, Calif., and offensive lineman Devonte Danzey from Hutchinson.

Offensive lineman Devonte Danzey from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College has signed with Auburn.

Danzey also considered Baylor and Texas Tech. It was Danzey who told the story of Tommy Tuberville abruptly leaving dinner while hosting official visitors at Texas Tech on Dec. 7. Tuberville was announced as Cincinnati’s new head coach the following day.

Danzey is the second junior college prospect to sign with newly-hired Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn, joining running back Cameron Artis-Payne.
