Georgia Adds Three Commitments To 2013 Class

Friday certainly was good for Georgia as the Bulldogs added three commitments to the class of 2013.

Offensive lineman Aulden Bynum of Valdosta, Ga., wide receiver Kyrin Priester of Snellville, Ga., and linebacker Ryne Rankin from Orlando, Fla., gave their pledges to Georgia on Friday.

“I love everything about the University,” Bynum told “Georgia has been my home for 17 years and I wanted it to continue to be my home.”

Rankin gave his commitment after receiving an offer from Georgia earlier in the week.

“When I went up there, the atmosphere was great,” Rankin told Dawgs247. “The people there were great. The facilities were great. The academics were great. It just felt like the best fit for me.”

Georgia has 12 commitments for the 2013 class and should be able to fit in plenty more before the year is finished.

Rankin, running back Derrick Henry, quarterback Brice Ramsey and wide receiver Tramel Terry all plan to enroll at Georgia in January. Others are considering the same, which could allow the Bulldogs to bring in more than 30 prospects in 2013.

“I know we can sign as much room as we can sign backwards and forwards, so it can be a pretty healthy class,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said on Saturday.

Tramel Terry Recommits To Georgia

Wide receiver Tramel Terry from Goose Creek (S.C.) High School has committed to Georgia.

Terry originally committed to Georgia in July before he decided to reopen his recruitment in September. Terry privately gave his pledge again to Georgia’s coach staff on Feb. 24.

“I just felt like home at Georgia,” Terry told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I de-committed just to look around and see other places where I could get my degree. I felt like I needed to do the smart thing and take my time, so I visited other places like Alabama, Virginia Tech, everywhere … and I felt like Georgia was home.”

Seven other prospects from the 2013 class have made the same decision. Terry’s announcement was met with great anticipation on Monday night from his fellow Georgia commits.

Georgia quarterback commit Brice Ramsey will certainly be happy to have Terry on board to go along with running back commit Derrick Henry.
