David Oku has added Louisville to his list of schools after removing Michigan and Illinois from consideration.
The running back from Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Okla., told Rivals.com he plans to take official visits to Louisville (Aug. 31), Tennessee (Sept. 19), Nebraska (Sept. 26) and Florida State (Nov. 7).
Oku, Rivals.com’s No. 1 all-purpose back in the nation, said he wants to move his FSU visit up. He’s considering graduating this fall and enrolling in January.
“The whole thing is if I want to graduate in December, then I need to have the decision out of the way and focus on school,” Oku told Rivals.com. “I found out I have a 2.5 GPA and I’m on track in all of my core classes. All I have to do now is get my ACT score, and I have no doubt that I’m going to do that.”
I’d say whichever teams lands Oku would like to have him as soon as possible.
