There were two commitments for the SEC on Thursday.

Vanderbilt received a commitment from cornerback Karl Butler from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. Butler had also been recruited by Tulane, Virginia, SMU and Tulsa.

Tennessee added to its kicking game with a commitment from Michael Palardy from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Palardy said UT creates a home away from home.
