Check out this “Slophouse” story about Arkansas signee Rotnei Clarke… a player who once put up 65 points in a high school game.

It seems the folks in the Tulsa press believe Clarke’s dad, who’s now leaving a job at Oral Roberts University, was hired at ORU in an attempt to land his son.

Obviously, the kid and father weren’t on the Danny Manning plan and Clarke is heading to Fayetteville.  It’ll be interesting to see if Papa gets a job somewhere in the Arkansas Athletic Department.

As for Oral Roberts, I hear they can get Ricky Roe for 30 grand and a tractor.
