The news from Lexington all surrounds freshman quarterback/receiver/punt returner Randall Cobb, who according to Mark Story of The Lexington Herald-Leader lived up to his recruiting hype.  Cobb is a “buy” in Story’s post-season “buy, sell or hold” analysis column.

Okay, so we know that Cobb has become UK’s Mr. Everything.  So what happens if he can’t play in the Wildcats’ bowl game later this month?  That’s a possibility now that Cobb faces arthroscopic knee surgery today in Lexington.  The freshman is having to have cartilage in his left knee repaired.
