Notes from Houston Nutt’s teleconference:
* Good week of practice for the Rebels. Tennessee is an “outstanding” opponent that’s playing well on offense and defense.
* Regarding the emotion of Ed Orgeron returning to Ole Miss, Nutt said that the emotions were a little bigger than he’d expected when he returned to the visitor’s sideline at Arkansas.
* Two-sport players. Yeah, yeah. “We don’t have a problem with that.”
* Asked about stopping Tennessee’s offense, Nutt said, “They’re executing so well right now. We’ve got to do a good job of stopping the run.” “It comes back to (Montario) Hardesty.” He also complemented Jonathan Crompton on the way he’s throwing the football.
* Not many questions for Nutt today.
