Tide fans, you’ve got a 50/50 shot of reaching the BCS title game in Miami.  If history counts for anything, that is.

In each of the past nine seasons, at least one of the top two teams in the initial BCS standings has played in the national championship game.  (1998 was the only exception, when Ohio State and UCLA faltered and Tennessee and Florida State climbed.)
