Former UT Vol JaJuan Smith is geared up for the NBA’s Summer league season in Las Vegas and Utah.
“This is something I’ve been working for my whole life. If I’m not ready now, I’ll never be ready.
“The Mavericks told me they almost drafted me, so I really believe this is the best opporunity for me right now.”
Smith says Dallas is looking at him as a 6′2 combo guard. He’ll be competing for a roster spot with 6′6 Shan Foster, who the Mavericks drafted out of Vanderbilt in the second round.
