Robbie Andreu of The Gainesville Sun writes that Urban Meyer is as fired up about his team and the upcoming season as he’s been since arriving at UF. Uh-oh, SEC fans.
Meyer is asking fans to wear white to the Hawaii game as part of a promotion called “Gators White Out Cancer.”
According to this story, Percy Harvin and Brandon Spikes are still uncertain for the Gators’ season-opener…
But this blurb from The Orlando Sentinel’s Jeremy Fowler says Harvin’s heel is “about 75 to 80 percent” and that the star wideout/rusher will likely miss the first two games of the season and possibly the Tennessee game before returning against Ole Miss.
(Sidenote — could Tennessee be gaining any more from the slew of injuries hitting UCLA, Florida and Georgia?)
