It’s an open date for Carolina tomorrow, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that there’s very little coming out of Columbia today:

This notes column covers the Gamecocks’ injury status, their defense’s “Goon Squad” nickname, and the shelving of last week’s kickoff-throwback play that backfired horribly.

South Carolina is resuming their Tigerburn pep rally next week.  The rally consists of burning a huge, student-built Tiger.  Last year, the celebration was shelved after six Carolina students and one Clemson student were killed in a beach house fire.
