Alabama receiver signee Destin Hood has signed a contract to play baseball with the Washington Nationals.
Hood had made it clear that his first love is baseball, but his contract negotiations with the Nationals had not been going well recently. So the timing of this announcement (not the announcement, mind you) is a bit surprising.
