Professional baseball has already taken it’s toll on Alabama’s #1 recruiting class… now grades are doing the same.

Devonta Bolton, a top wide receiver signee, appears headed to a junior college unless he gets a surprise clearance from the NCAA Clearinghouse.

The same goes for defensive end signee Brandon Lewis.

Just another reason why recruiting rankings shouldn’t be taken as gospel.
