Some Bama notes for this fine Friday:

The NCAA gave Alabama State a bit of relief from their numerous penalties despite the fact that the Hornets were guilty of a LOT of wrong-doing.  So does that mean Alabama fans can expect a successful appeal, of their penalties, too?

Most folks don’t deny what Nick Saban’s been saying about internet recruiting sites/services: that they sometimes get involved in the process rather than just cover the process.

Senior reserve center Evan Cardwell isn’t expected to return to the football team this fall.

Receiver signee Michael Bowman appears to be cleared to enroll at Bama this summer… but two other signees are still up in the air.
