CROOM RESIGNS AT MISSISSIPPI STATE
Sylvester Croom has resigned as the head coach at Mississippi State, according to multiple reports.
Croom made the decision after Mississippi State's embarrassing 45-0 loss to Ole Miss on Friday.
Croom led Mississippi State to a 21-38 record in five seasons. The Bulldogs were 10-30 in the SEC during that time.
Mississippi State's only winning season under Croom came in 2007 when the Bulldogs went 8-5 and defeated Central Florida in the Liberty Bowl.
