TIME TO SPEED THIS SUCKER UP... HERE'S A DAY'S WORTH OF STUFF IN ONE MEGA-POST

ARKANSAS:  Mike Slive calls out Arkansas for having a track team on probation.

FLORIDA:  If anyone's perfect, it's Tim Tebow, says The Charleston Post and Courier's Travis Haney.

GEORGIA & FLORIDA:  Mark Richt says he used the wrong motivational ploy vs the Gators last year.

"In hindsight I asked the team to do an unsportsmanlike thing.  I shouldn't have done it.  It easily could have turned into a big, ugly brawl."

FLORIDA:  Urban Meyer regrets saying that Tebow could become the best college player of his era.

GEORGIA & USC:  Defensive tackle Jeff Owens says the Bulldogs won't forget their loss to Carolina last year.

ALABAMA:  Beer will be sold at The Georgia Dome for the Tide's game with Clemson.  Road trip!

FLORIDA & GEORGIA:  Mark Bradley of the AJC takes a shot at Meyer for his continued whining about UGA's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty last year.

LSU:  The Tigers face big obstacles on their road to a repeat championship.

OLE MISS:  Here are a few notes about Rebels basketball.

VANDY:  Bobby Johnson wants football players, not just brainiacs

"If you're coming to Vanderbilt just to be a doctor or a lawyer or a huge businessman, you know, we don't want you.  We want you to be a great football player and be a great doctor and a lawyer and a great businesseman."

MSU & KENTUCKY:  Mississippi State's Wesley Carroll says his team talk about last year's season-changing win over Kentucky quite a bit.

SEC:  Great post from Evan Woodbery of The Mobile Press-Register in which he asked national media members to rank the SEC's coaches in terms of Media Savvy, Public Speaking and Friendliness.  Bad news for Bobby Petrino.

ARKANSAS:  Razorback fans shouldn't be worried that their team only had three players voted to the pre-season coaches' All-SEC team.  Those predictions aren't what they're cracked up to be.

KENTUCKY:  Basketball recruit GJ Vilarino, who committed to UK before the end of his sophomore year, is an example of the risks associated with recruiting younger and younger kids.

ALABAMA & LSU:  Nick Saban didn't argue with Les Miles' "lots of teams in Louisiana beat" Alabama line.

"Well, he told the truth, he told it like it was.  We need to earn that.  WE need to earn that respect, so that's what we need to do.  That's what we need to do, and that's what we're trying to do."

He turned into Dr. Seuss in the middle of that.

MSU:  Sylvester Croom knows that success won't come easily or quickly.

Finally, three more stories about a guy you might've heard of:

Tim Tebow wants to improve his decision-making.

Tim Tebow didn't even know the Heisman Trophy was present at SEC Media Days.

Tim Tebow is the SEC's Golden Boy.
