VANDY FOOTBALL NOTES - 8/22/08
We start with a notes column covering the following:
1) Brett Upson, who's medical woes we told you about earlier this week, is planning to be the Commodores punter versus Miami (OH) next Thursday.
2) Bobby Johnson was happy with yesterday's two-minute drills. "I thought we handled it well. It's important to do that regularly, and we're getting better at it as we go."
3) Chris Nickson and Mackenzi Adams are still battling for the right to lead the two-minute offense in Vandy's real games this fall.
And Maurice Patton of The Tennessean takes a look at the Commodores' freshmen... and the transition they're having to make from high school to Vandy. (Insert joke here.)
