Georgia has received its first basketball commitment for the 2010 class.

Forward Cady Lalanne from Orlando gave his pledge to Georgia coach Mark Fox on Thursday.

“I’d been thinking about it for a while so I was ready to do it,” Lalanne told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “I met Coach Fox this summer andh e called me on the first day (of the contact period).
