Tennessee got better play out of the quarterback position against Northern Illinois… but they still managed only nine first downs and just 13 points against the Huskies.

There are two teams that, it would seem, have gained ground on their rivals through two weeks of fall practice.

While injuries have hurt the majority of SEC schools, these two schools have avoided major injuries.  They’ve not had off-the-field issues crop up recently.  And things are going somewhat smoothly in practice for them.
