The Atlanta Falcons are already trying to sell tickets for their new stadium which opens in 2017. The downtown stadium will serve as a replacement for the Georgia Dome which means there's a 99.9% chance it will serve as the new home of the SEC Championship Game as well.
The Falcons released a quick preview video of the new building and the events that will likely be held within its oddly shaped walls. SEC fans can catch a look at the new venue, study its unique features -- including an "oculus" that opens and closes -- and dream of seeing their team playing in the state-of-the-art stadium.
The SEC likes to present itself as the biggest, baddest conference on the block. Holding its annual championship event in a structure like the one up above certainly won't hurt that image.
