blue-chipYou know what yesterday was, right?  Exactly 33 weeks from National Signing Day 2015, yeah?  So do you know how your favorite school is stacking up against the rest of the SEC as we buzz through summer?

Below we provide you with our standard measurement of the league's best and worst commitment classes to date.  We continue to use Rivals.com' rankings because in previous research pieces we've found their class rankings to be a pretty good predictor of future on-field team success.  For each star ranking assigned to a prospect by Rivals, we assign a point.  We also give a point to players with zero stars who've yet to be graded by Rivals.

We look at the league's commitment lists in three ways -- Quantity (the total number of points per school), Quality (the average number of points per commitment) and High-End Talent (the total number of 4- and 5-star commits).  At the end, we tally all the rankings to arrive at our own official MrSEC.com Recruiting Rankings.
