They’ve been waiting for this game in Fayetteville for 11 months as Houston Nutt returns to the stadium where he coached on the home sidelines from 1998 to last year.

“I understand the buildup by the Razorback fans,” said Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino. “That’s natural.”

Off-field distractions aside, both teams could use a victory in the hunt to be bowl eligible. The two teams have identical 3-4 records with both at 1-3 in conference play.

“The Rebels’ remaining opponents after Saturday have a combined record of 13-14. Arkansas’ final four opponents, including No. 11 LSU and undefeated Tulsa, are 19-9 combined.”

The line here has bounced around all week - with Ole Miss favored anywhere from 3 to 6 1/2 points.  It’s currently at 3 1/2.
