It’s the offseason and arrests are starting to pick up. In the case of Ole Miss defensive back Bobby Hill, the arrest is not the typical small one. He was arrested Tuesday after a female told police she had been sexually assaulted.
WTVA-TV first reported the story. Hugh Freeze then released a statement concerning Hill’s arrest:
“We are aware of the situation and recognize the proper authorities are responsible for the matter. Bobby has been indefinitely suspended from all football activities while the process moves forward. We take this very seriously and will make decisions once the course of (legal) action is complete.”
As a freshman, Hill played in 10 games for the Rebels.
