Suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill is expected back Saturday against UAB. Citing “a source familiar with the situation” The Advocate in Baton Rouge says Hill won’t start - but will play a backup role behind Alfred Blue and possibily behind two other LSU backs, Kenny Hilliard and Terrence Magee.
Hill was suspended in April after punching a man outside a bar near LSU. He had been placed on probation back in 2012 following a 2011 arrest.
Hill was LSU’s leading rusher last season with 755 yards and 12 touchdowns on 142 carries.
With or without Hill, LSU is a 34.5 point favorite over UAB.
