Wauchula, Florida four star defensive end Keyon Brown committed to the Bulldogs today. “Georgia is a place I can be comfortable,” Brown said of picking Georgia. “The environment, it’s like home almost. It’s country, but there are things to do if you get bored. I like the coaches, and they have a great defense.”
“I think the big reason was he liked the way they talked about him fitting in the defensive scheme — He will be a part of the defensive scheme,” Brown’s high school coach Buddy Martin told AJC.com. “I also think the family-first atmosphere that Coach Richt brings to the football program is a big deal to him.”
Brown chose Georgia over Florida State and Miami. He’s expected to play outside linebacker at Georgia.
