LSU and Wisconsin have officially agreed to meet one another at two neutral sites in future football seasons. Next year, the schools will open the 2014 season with a game at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. Then in 2016, the Tigers will travel to Green Bay to face the Badgers at historic Lambeau Field.
LSU associate AD Verge Ausberry told The New Orleans Times-Picayune that there are still “some small details to work out, but the contracts should be done next week.”
SEC fans should get used to seeing Wisconsin. The Badgers will open against LSU in 2014 and 2016 and against Alabama in 2015. SEC versus Big Ten? Good stuff. Kudos to all involved.
