I really half-expected the voice to say this at about the 1:15 mark. "I am concrete. I am turf. I am cardinal. I am white. I...am Optimus Prime." In all seriousness though, isn't that one of the voices for the NFL during radio broadcasts?
This fall marks the 75th anniversary of the opening of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. As a result, the University of Arkansas plans to do a little celebrating in the building’s honor.
Earlier this week the school launched a website that features videos and recollections of great moments in the stadium’s history, a timeline history of the venue, merchandise (naturally), and contests. The top five vote-getting moments will be featured inside the stadium during Arkansas home games this fall.
The most impressive part? The voice-over guy who cut the audio track for the website’s welcome video. You have to wonder if that guy talks like that at home. “Honey… could you pass the ketchup?”
Listen for yourself below.
