1. Getting his first start since February 9th, Shavon Coleman scores 24 points for LSU. ”They were playing off me a lot and I know I can shoot; I’ve always had that confidence.”

2. Career-best 32 points for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope not enough for Georgia.  25 of 32 points came in second half but missed late three to tie the game.  Coach Mark Fox: “He’s earned the right to take whatever shot he wants, he’s had such a great year.”

Tennessee 69 – Mississippi State 53. Video Highlights

3. Tennessee jumps out to 16-point first half lead and cruises to 20th victory of the season. Coach Cuonzo Martin: “We won the game. In this arena, in this setting, you win ballgames and move on.”

4. Difficult season comes to an end for the 10-22 Bulldogs. Coach Rick Ray: “I’ve been in this business for 20 years, and I’ve never been in a situation where a team has dealt with this much adversity both on and off the court.”

5. Coming off the bench, backup point guard Kyle Fuller scores 19 points for Vanderbilt.  Coach Kevin Stallings: “He played his fanny off. He was awesome.”

6. Familiar story for Arkansas as Razorbacks drop first round game in SEC Tournament.  Marshawn Powell: “We’re in a rough patch. The last couple teams I played on, we didn’t really have the head like we have on this team with Coach A.”

7. Five dunks for Missouri’s Alex Oriakhi as the Tigers’ center finishes with  13 points and 10 rebounds.  ”I want to win, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win. I’m trying to send a statement to my teammates.”

8. Aggies tied their season-low shooting percentage at 24 percent, now 18-15.  Coach Billy Kennedy: ”I think it’s a long shot that we get to the NIT.”
