How ’bout a sigh of relief from everybody out there? It’s Wednesday after all, the midpoint of the work week.
This morning’s musical interlude comes by way of Rod Stewart. From his third solo album, “Every Picture Tells A Story” tracks back to 1971. That’s the cut that popped up on the MrSEC.com iPod this morning. But the video below comes from a 1993 MTV Unplugged session featuring Ronnie Wood. Now Wood’s been a member of The Rolling Stones since ’75, but before that he was in the group Faces. Also in Faces? Rod Stewart. And though this wasn’t a faces song, it was written by Stewart and Wood.
“Spent some time feelin’ inferior… standing in front of my mirror. Combed my hair in a thousand ways, but I came out lookin’ just the same.”
