1. Arkansas 88 – Auburn 80 (2 OT) – Video Highlights
Razorbacks needed two overtime sessions to give Auburn its first loss in SEC play. Arkansas hit on 20-of-33 free throws. Marshawn Powell and BJ Young combined for 50 points for the Razorbacks now 11-5 and 2-1 in the SEC. Auburn’s Allen Payne hit a deep three-pointer with 5.2 seconds in regulation to send the game to overtime. Tigers drop to 8-8 and 2-1 in conference play.
2. South Carolina 82 – LSU 73 (OT) – Video Highlights
South Carolina coach Frank Martin needed overtime to gets his first SEC conference win. Gamecocks were led by Michael Carrera’s 23 points – one of four players in double figures. South Carolina outscored LSU 3-4 in the overtime period – 10 of those points were scored by Carrera. 9-5 LSU drops to 0-3 in conference play.
3. Missouri 79 – Georgia 62 - Video Highlights
Inside dominance for Missouri as the Tigers outscore Georgia 32-12 in the lane. Missouri coach Frank Haith: “Hey, guys, I’ve got to applaud our team.” Mizzou moves to 13-3 and 2-1 in conference play. Career-high 23 points for Georgia’s Vincent Williams. Bulldogs drop to 6-10 and 0-3 in the SEC.
4. Alabama 75 – Mississippi State 43 – Video Highlights
Without guard Trevor Releford, suffering from a sprained ankle, Alabama dominated MSU on the road. Sophomore guard Levi Randolph equaled his career high with 18 points. Crimson Tide now 10-6 and 2-1 in the SEC. MSU drops to 7-8 and 2-1 in the conference. Coach Rick Ray: “The biggest disappointment I have is the fact we didn’t compete.”
Power went out at Humphrey Coliseum about 90 minutes before tipoff. Came back on 45 minutes before game time.
