Another Pro-Notre Dame T-Shirt Takes A Swipe At Southerners

I hope Alabama and their fans hold themselves to a higher standard.  Show some class and forget this silly tee shirt business.  Let it be decided on the field instead.  As for the other SEC folks cheering against the Tide.  One should remember that all the SEC schools get a share of the spoils.  A Bama win benefits all the SEC schools, so perhaps you should rethink your stance.  If you hate us so much and can't bring yourself to cheer for us, then sit in silence, but don't cheer for Notre Dam just because you don't like us.  I'm a Bama fan through and through, but I will always take TN, Auburn & LSU anyday over a bunch of crazy westerners or darn yankees.  Nothing wrong with having a little conference pride! 

John, I enjoy your website for its in depth coverage of each SEC team and because you aren't a homer for any school or the league. But I didn't know stupid t-shirts created by a few moronic fans could push you over the edge so easily. How did the Alabama shirts that said "Hey Homeauxs" make you feel? Or how about the one that said "Bama tea bagged the Tigers"? And LSU has shirts claiming they would "rather shower at Penn State than than cheer for Bama". Did these shirts make you lose respect for these schools and make you ashamed to be a Southerner? Every school has some moronic fans and every school has had stupid t-shirts. Do you get upset at all of these, or does your over-reaction only apply to shirts printed north of the Mason-Dixon?

As a Southern Catholic I think the pedophile thing is a bit worse, but I'd say Alabama has more class than that anyway. And it's pretty shameful that a Catholic or any religious institution would rip people like that, but anyway I hope Alabama puts those yankees in their place.

In all sincerity, I am sure the baby who was laid in a manger in a stable  and died a murderer's death on a cross is not pleased at those who at least claim to represent a university founded on his teachings by laughing at where some live.  I think maybe there are some Pharisees who need to read the passage where Jesus said he came as a physician for those who are sick and that those who are well have no need of him.

While not normally into guilt by association (I mean really, most people who go to Notre Dame are not rapists or pedaphiles, just like most folks in the South do not live in mobile homes or marry their cousins), Having said that: I must admit I tend to just dislike Yankees as a matter of principle. I am a fifth generation Floridian, and I can not tell you how many times some transplant Yankee to Florida would lecure me on how "we did things better back in Michigan, Ohio or where eve," and it was never even close to being true.

North Bend is not South of the Mason Dixon line, so they are just Yankees. I hope Alabama tears them a new oraface, and did not need a t-shirt controversy to want it to be a masacre.

notre dame fans tried to claim that manti te'o deserved the heisman over manziel because he's more of a class act.  clearly his "classiness" has not rubbed off to everyone else.

I don't care for the SEC but I really HATE Notre Dame!
