SEC East

1. With linebacker Jelani Jenkins and defensive end Dominique Easley returning to the lineup, Florida’s defense back at full strength for the first time since Week 2. Fullback Trey Burton also coming back.

2. Florida defensive end Lerentee McCray on LSU: “If we come ready to play, they’re not gonna do nothing.”

3. Robbie Andreu: ” I know it’s going to be tough, but the Gators can play with, and can beat, every team remaining on their schedule.”

4. Aaron Murray’s chance to silence his critics.  Georgia QB just 2-7 in games against Top 25 teams.

5. Georgia’s offensive line challenge – facing a South Carolina defense that leads the SEC with 22 sacks.

6. Steve Spurrier looks for improvement from his line: “We let the quarterback run out of the pocket a few times too many (against Kentucky)…”

7. After missing three games, it appears Missouri offensive tackle Elvis Fisher is back in the lineup and that’s good news for a Mizzou line that’s allowed 13 sacks this year – second-most in the SEC.

8. Kentucky fans dilemma this weekend - Keeneland or the Cats?

9. Kentucky wide receiver La’Rod King on the team’s two freshmen QBs: “Both those guys are phenomenal – for freshmen. Really stepping up, making throws, knowing protections, making calls, little Peyton Manning stuff, a little confidence, get a little swag up.”

10. Improvement in Tennessee’s offensive line – surrendered only three sacks and the Vols are averaging 177 yards per game on the ground.

13. When LSU won the national title in 2007, the Tigers led the SEC in penalties.  So maybe all the flags this year are a good thing?

14. Tiger fullback J.C. Copeland ready to go against Florida.  Les Miles: “He is a large man. He will continue to be that.”

15. Was Bobby Petrino’s in-state recruiting at Arkansas just the result of good timing?

16. Ron Higgins on the Razorbacks: “If you want to win a championship in the SEC and have a shot at the national championship, you’ve got to recruit as many or more top-level athletes on defense than you do offense.”

17. Arkansas tight end Chris Gragg won’t play against Auburn – suffering from a bone bruise in his leg.

18. Change is constant this year at Auburn - four different games, four different starting lineups on offense and defense. Tigers outscored 31-3 this year in the 4th quarter.

19. The numbers suggest Mississippi State quarterback Tyler Russell is actually better on the road.  Dan Mullen: “I think being on the road in those environments, to him, doesn’t get to him. He’s going to take care of his business.”

20. Texas A&M has only turned the ball over once in 304 snaps.  And that’s with a freshman quarterback and a new offensive scheme. A more conservative game plan this weekend?

21, Based on the numbers against Texas vs. the ones against Alabama, the Ole Miss defense is improving.
