SEC Releases TV Schedule For September 29th

The networks have made their picks and the television schedules is now set for next Saturday — or “Saturday-week” as folks in my family might say.  Here’s when and where you can find your team the Saturday after this one… meaning the 29th:

Missouri at Central Florida — 12:00pm ET on FSN

Arkansas at Texas A&M — 12:21pm ET on SEC Network (This will be the Aggies first appearance on the league’s syndicated package.)

Tennessee at Georgia — 3:30pm ET on CBS

South Carolina at Kentucky — 7:00pm ET on ESPN or ESPN2

Towson at LSU — 7:00pm ET on ESPNU (Towson is no longer known as “Towson State.”  Didn’t know that.)

Ole Miss at Alabama — 9:15 ET on ESPN or ESPN2

9:15?  PM?  I know I am getting old, but...being a football fan in the Eastern Time Zone is rough.  Ridiculous.

No matter how you look at it, that's a terrible schedule.  Tennessee-Georgia might be worth watching.  Otherwise, deer hunters are glad deer season is underway.

Who would have thought that ESPN would take SC vs KY or possibly worse Towson vs LSU over AR vs TAMU

Mizzou will be on FSN. Does that mean Fox has a deal with Conference USA that allows it to televise the game? Generally, does the home team's TV partner have rights to the game?
