Defensive tackle Ulric Jones from Oxford (Ala.) High School is set to commit to Mississippi State.

Jones would join defensive end teammate Trent Simpson, who committed to Mississippi State on July 27. Jones told ESPN RecruitingNation he likes the future of Mississippi State under coach Dan Mullen.
“They’re in the rebuilding process,” Jones said. “I like the coaching staff, and I like the environment of being down there. It makes you feel at home, and that’s pretty much what I was basing my whole decision off of, a place where I can feel at home. Mississippi State was it.”
