Just for you, Johnny. Remember - no returns!
Great Moments in Big 12 History: A&M Edition
Conference Football Dominance In the 16 completed seasons of Big 12 play Texas A&M has finished the season as one of the top three programs twice, both coming in the late 1990s. In fact, the Aggies average finish is a middling 6th place behind powerhouse programs such as Texas Tech. Over the course of 16 seasons Texas A&M isn’t even the second best program in the state.
Bowl Games The Aggies have played in a bowl game in a somewhat solid 11 of the last 16 seasons. However, that’s where the good feelings stop – for their trouble the farmers only won two bowl trophies. That’s right two, as in 2-9 in bowl games – and both came at home in Houston at the 2001 GalleryFurniture.com Bowl and the 2011 Meineke Car Care Bowl. Just for reference, Iowa State and Kansas are next in line with three bowl wins a piece over the same time period, including an Orange Bowl victory by the Jayhawks in 2008. In fact, Baylor is the only Big 12 program with fewer bowl victories than Texas A&M.
@TexAgMJ Apparently, you don't know the definition of "ignorant". Aggies can't help themselves. Unfortunately, the SEC didn't know they were adding a university with "special needs".
Everything I've said above is factual, dumbass. Look it up! Nice avatar too. Whoop!
Your ignorance is displayed with your arrogant attitude towards the trends in college football. "Texas is best, and always will be. A&M sucks, and always will". You're an idiot if you don't understand that every college football program goes through good and bad periods. How's Texas been doing the last couple years? Don't be such an ass, you flaming troll. Wouldn't your time be better spent talking to Texas fans about the upcoming season, rather than researching A&M factoids and reading SEC blogs for any opportunity to flame?
@JB TexasEx Really sad dude. You keep posting here, about a school you alternatively think had a good rivalry with you until they left, think they were a pitiful team (that is about 50-50 against you in the last 30-35 years), and are not worth talking about (but you keep running on, and on, and on, and on about). We get it. You like to spend alot of your spare time researching the Ags and then posting it. We also get that John was pretty much talking about you when he said Longhorn Trolls.
Get a job, get some friends and get out of your basement.
I was just responding to John's request.
Why so uptight? Oh, and there's this new thing called Twitter that let's you follow posts to interesting factoids - like A&M's abysmal record in the B12. No research was necessary. Frankly, I was shocked at just how bad the aggies were. I also noticed that you've conveniently added Sherrill's wins while cheating into your 50/50 analysis. But, I guess that's just business as usual in the SECSECSEC, huh?
Of course, we know that no aggies nor intelligent, sophisticated and classy SEC fans EVER post on Big 12 blogs. Right? Get over yourselves. Remember - The Eyes of Texas will ALWAYS be upon you.
Hook 'Em \m/
@BonzaiB Really? You sure fooled me.
How did you like A&M screwing y'all out of 2,500 tickets to Kyle Field? Google it. Oh, and don't forget to bring your oxygen masks. Go Gators! ESS EEE CEE
@JB TexasEx I'm a Gator you mon-roon. You guys do have A&M on the brain. Get therapy and maybe in a few years they will take you off your meds.
@BonzaiB LOL...from "Cult of Aggy". Wow, that stings.
SEC will get to experience you buffoons first hand this fall. Whoop!
@JB TexasEx Now that was just stupid. "Conveniently adding Sherrills' wins?" And uptight? The Ags are right, you guys are on your own planet..... and apparently there is no intelligent life there.
