Running back Derrick Henry from Yulee (Fla.) High School confirmed via twitter on Monday that Alabama is his leader.
Henry, who’s considered the nation’s fourth-best athlete by ESPN RecruitingNation, is also considering Georgia and Tennessee. He wrote that he plans to announce his decision in December.
Georgia and Tennessee are going to have some work to do to sway Henry from Alabama.
“The past few years speak for itself with what Coach (Nick) Saban has done with the program and how the players turned out to be first-round picks at my position,” Henry told ESPN. “Trent (Richardson) and Mark Ingram were very, very successful at Alabama.”
