Apparent Suicide Jumper Dies After Fall From UF’s Stadium

There’s a sad story coming out of Gainesville today. A University of Florida journalism student apparently committed suicide yesterday by jumping from an upper level of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Michael Richard Edmonds Jr. died after falling from the northwest corner of the building known as The Swamp.

Our thoughts are with the young man’s family and friends.
