As a Bama fan, I'd say the LSU coaches deserve that and more. Miles is clearly the national coach of the year after all he's done this year with off the field and on the field issue.
When you receive your Christmas bonus this year — and let’s hope it’s not a membership in The Jelly of the Month Club… even though it is the gift that keeps on giving the whole year — try not to think about the LSU coaching staff. Doing so will make your own bonus seem, well, microscopic.
According to The New Orleans Times-Picayune, the 10-man coaching staff in Baton Rouge — including strength coach Tommy Moffitt — will earn a combined $1.15 million in bonuses if they can bring home a BCS championship.
Obvious statement: College coaches put up with a nasty bit of stress in their lives but the cash certainly makes up for a heckuva lot of it.
