Offensive lineman D.J. Humphries from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, N.C., will announce his decision tonight at 7 eastern time.
Humphries, who plans to graduate in December and enroll in college in the spring semester, is considering Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and Clemson.
“He just wants to get the process over,” Mallard Creek coach Mike Palmieri told ESPN.com. “He doesn’t want to do it during the season and wants to focus on what we do.”
Humphries would be a big boost to any school’s class for 2012. He’s ranked the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle by ESPN and Rivals. Scout and 247Sports both have Humphries ranked No. 5 in the nation at his position.
