Kentucky Adds Three Members To 2012 Class

Kentucky received commitments from offensive lineman T.J. Jones, defensive lineman Daniel Ross and kicker Landon Foster on Tuesday.

Ross, who attends Jeffersontown (Ky.) High School, hadn’t received any other major offers other than Kentucky. He decided to take advantage of it.

“I just felt the time was right, so I went for it,” Ross said, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. “I’ve always been a UK fan. I talked to coach Joker and he said he was excited to have me on the team.”

Jones, who attends Myrtle Beach (S.C.) High School, had also considered an offer from East Carolina.

“They said they need some big, strong guys who can move around and just play football,” Jones told CatsIllustrated.com.

Foster, a Franklin, Tenn., native, chose Kentucky over an offer from Western Kentucky.

Kentucky has commitments from 16 prospects for the class of 2012.
