Hogs Use Bad Weather To Their Advantage

When an electrical storm descended on Fayetteville yesterday, you didn’t hear Arkansas’ coaches complaining.  The team simply delayed, moved and then restarted its practice indoors.  Special teams coordinator John L. Smith was A-OK with the lightning:

“It’s not a bad thing for them to learn how to go through this.  You never know, we might have delays in a football game like that.  You have to take it in.  You have to come out.  You have to stretch.  You have to start again.”

That very thing occurred last year in the Razorbacks’ 38-24 win over Ole Miss.  That game was stopped twice due to bad weather for a total of 89 minutes.
